Na tien jaar en drie platen in de Rotterdamse band Politics, besloten Dries van Oosterhout en Sjoerd van Assendelft samen
een plaat te maken. Beat Static, vol melodieuze, melancholieke en pakkende liedjes, was het resultaat. Samen met geluidskunstenaar Ilja van Rijswijk en steady beat Jeroen van Gils wordt nu
gewerkt aan de tweede plaat waarvan ze een deel in 2024 al live spelen.
